I'll be sending out one of my e-mailers over the next week or so but I just wanted to briefly let you know direct about two sources of funds that I now have access to that may be of interest:
1 Distressed business purchases
I've been appointed as the Northern contact point for this initiative (but am not strictly geographically limited), the key points of which are:
- Deal size £1m - £30m (possibly larger dependent on circumstances)
- Purchasers able to complete within 6 weeks
- Distressed businesses sought but with past track record of profitability
- No fees to client for seeking purchaser
- Client must have their own advisors in place
2 Short term business loans
- Loan size £100k - £1m (possibly larger dependent on circumstances)
- 6 month terms / quasi equity rates
- Will take whatever security is available but lending decision driven by exit ability to generate return so can be cash flow based
- Capital to be repaid within 6 months, scheduling of interest payments flexible
