In this e-mail, we are pleased to bring you details of our June Events.

  • Regional Networking Events: Our regional networking events will be held in London, Newcastle and Manchester. These events all qualify for CPD so provide an opportunity to top up your requirements while listening to interesting speakers and taking part in quality networking over refreshments afterwards.
  • TMA Europe conference: The third TMA Europe Conference will be held in Berlin on 10th-11th June and will feature Keynote Speakers, Harvey Miller, Weil Gotshal & Manges, LLP (GM Restructuring Counsel) and Dr Andreas Dombret, German Federal Reserve. The Pre-Conference Dinner Speaker will be Dr Ulf Merbold, German Physicist and Astronaut.
  • Education & Training: Fundamentals in Turnaround Management - An essential update for experienced professionals being held on 24th June
  • External Events: ICAEW's Seminar being held on 30th June - Turnaround, Restructuring, Corporate Recovery and Insolvency and Debt Restructuring London 2010

Regional Networking Events

London Wednesday 9th June at 6pm: Improving Cash, Protecting Assets & Adding Value(*CPD Certified)

Asset based Finance and it's value in Financial Restructuring

North East (Newcastle) Thursday 10th June at 6pm: Perspectives from the UK's Leading Turnaround Investor(*CPD Certified)

The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and Watson Burton LLP are delighted to invite you to the second in the series of regional North East meetings. "Perspectives from the UK's leading Turnaround Investor" will be an informative event, providing you with practical advice on turnaround situations and investment criteria, as well as updating you on the latest insolvency case law.
This regional meeting will be chaired by Andrew Cawkwell, Head of Corporate Recovery and Insolvency at Watson Burton LLP. The presentations will be delivered by Aidan Robson of the UK's leading turnaround investor, Endless LLP, and Insolvency case law specialist, Damian Murphy, a Barrister from Enterprise Chambers.

North West (Manchester) Thursday 17th June at 5.30pm , Private Equity Investing in Underperforming Companies (*CPD Certified)

The Turnaround Management Association UK and Vantis Restructuring Services are delighted to welcome to the next Manchester event Partners from three of the UK's leading private equity funds which specialise in supporting the turnaround of UK small and middle market companies. They will each present their own fund and it's approach to investing in and acquiring underperforming companies, and working with management to support turnarounds. This will include examples of transactions in the north of England and practical advice on how to work together successfully with private equity funds, including their own investment criteria and the accelerated investment process necessary.
