Emergency Budget Breakfast invitation
Dear Andrew,
In light of the recently announced Emergency Budget – we have decided to replace our scheduled Corporate Tax Seminar (10 June) for a reactive Emergency Budget Seminar (23 June).
Recently, the new Chancellor, George Osborne has promised to cut £6 billion from Britain’s record £153 billion deficit this year, following the 80-20 rule, which would involve 80% of cuts to be made through public spending restraint and 20% through tax measures.
With speculation that capital gains tax will increase to 40%, VAT to 20%, and that National Insurance contributions will go up 1 percentage point to 12%, this Budget promises to be contentious.
We are delighted to invite to you to attend our Emergency Budget Breakfast where we will digest the findings of the Budget. The seminar will provide an overview of the Chancellor’s announcements, looking at how these will impact your business
